Friday at Five: Quotes for the New Year

Happy Friday, friends!

As I write this, I have two chapters to self-edit before doing a full self-read-through. After that, we're off to a third-party editor and work on cover design.

2024: The year I self-publish my first book.

Keep an eye out! I'll be inviting y'all in to launch day details soon.

Now, on to this week's Friday at Five to help us finish the week well:

💬 "The riskiest moment is when you think you are right." - Peter Bernstein
💬 "Most people, when confronted with a choice of changing their thoughts or proving there is no need to change, get busy on the proof." - John Maynard Keynes
💬 "If you can't be happy with a coffee, then you won't be happy on a yacht." - Naval
💬 "If you neglect your children to play video games, it’s a nationwide news story. If you neglect your children to play the money game, it’s a Tuesday." - George Mack
💬 "Without mountains, we might find ourselves relieved that we can avoid the pain of the ascent, but we will forever miss the thrill of the summit. And in such a terribly scandalous trade-off, it is the absence of pain that becomes the thief of life.” —Craig D. Lounsbrough

Do your plans for the new year reflect what matters most?

Finish your week well!
